Frequently asked questions

How jusTask works, what it costs, and what I can help with.

What is jusTask?

jusTask is practical, local support for the everyday things that take up your time.

Whether you're an expat settling into Geneva, a busy professional, a family juggling too much, or someone preparing to leave Switzerland, you can simply give me the task and I'll help you take care of it.

From paperwork and appointments to errands, housing matters, relocation and everyday admin — if it's taking up your time, ask me.

How is jusTask different from a traditional concierge or relocation service?

You don't need a package or a long-term contract.

Traditional relocation services often focus on major moves, while concierge services may offer ongoing memberships or larger packages.

jusTask is designed for the small, unexpected and practical tasks that fall between the cracks. You might need help with:

  • A difficult administrative form
  • A bill you'd like to challenge
  • Finding a local service
  • Booking an appointment
  • Returning or collecting something
  • Changing your address
  • Preparing for a move
  • Getting your computer or website working
  • Following up with a company or administration

You have a task. I help you get it done.

Do I need to become a member?

No. You can use jusTask for a single task, several tasks, or ongoing support.

There is no need to commit to a package if you only need help occasionally.

How does the pay-per-task pricing work?

For straightforward tasks, you'll receive a fixed price before I start.

For tasks where the amount of work is uncertain, I'll explain what is included and provide an estimate or maximum before proceeding.

If additional work becomes necessary, I'll ask for your approval first.

You should never be surprised by an invoice.

What if you can't guarantee the result?

Some tasks depend on another person or organisation — for example, disputing a bill, communicating with a provider, or dealing with an administrative office.

I charge for the work involved, not for guaranteeing the outcome.

I'll handle the agreed administrative work, communication and follow-up, but the final decision belongs to the relevant organisation.

If a matter becomes legal, highly specialised or requires professional representation, I'll let you know and suggest that you consult the appropriate professional.

Can you help if I don't speak French?

Yes. jusTask provides support in English and French, making everyday life in Geneva easier when dealing with French-language correspondence, businesses and administration.

I'll help you understand what needs to happen and, where appropriate, assist with the communication.

I'm an expat. Is jusTask only for people who have just moved to Geneva?

Not at all. You don't have to be new to Geneva to need help.

Even people who have lived here for years can find themselves dealing with unfamiliar paperwork, landlords, insurance companies, appointments, repairs, moves or other time-consuming tasks.

jusTask is for anyone who wants practical help getting things done.

Can you help me when I'm leaving Switzerland?

Yes. Leaving Switzerland can involve a long list of small but important tasks. jusTask can help coordinate things such as:

  • Address changes
  • Administrative paperwork
  • Utilities and services
  • Insurance correspondence
  • Apartment handover preparation
  • État des lieux coordination
  • Returns and cancellations
  • Moving arrangements
  • Appointments and follow-ups

I'll help you organise the process so you don't have to keep track of everything yourself.

What if my task isn't listed on your website?

Ask me. The services on this website are examples rather than a complete list.

If your request is practical, administrative or organisational, tell me what you need and I'll let you know whether I can help.

Not sure which category your task belongs to? That's okay. That's part of the point.

Can you handle sensitive or personal information?

Some tasks naturally involve personal documents or information.

I'll only ask for the information needed to carry out the agreed task and will treat your information with care.

For particularly sensitive matters, I'll explain what information is required before proceeding.

Do you provide legal, tax or professional advice?

No. jusTask provides practical and administrative assistance.

I can help you organise documents, communicate with organisations, understand administrative processes and find the appropriate service or professional.

Where a matter requires legal, tax, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice, I'll recommend that you consult the appropriate qualified professional.

Do you work with businesses as well as individuals?

Yes. Small businesses sometimes need help with tasks that aren't large enough to justify hiring someone full-time. This can include:

  • Administrative tasks
  • Research
  • Supplier enquiries
  • Booking forms
  • Website assistance
  • Basic IT support
  • Local errands
  • Follow-ups

Think of jusTask as an extra pair of hands when you need them.

Why should I use jusTask instead of doing it myself?

Because sometimes the real cost isn't the task — it's the time, frustration and mental space it takes to deal with it.

You could spend an afternoon making calls, translating a letter, comparing providers and filling out forms.

Or you can send the task to jusTask and get on with your day.

You don't have to do everything yourself.

Do you offer partnership opportunities?

Yes. jusTask collaborates with local professionals and organisations whose clients may need practical help with admin, relocation, housing processes, or everyday support in Geneva.

Who can partner with jusTask?

Typical partners include:

  • Cleaning companies (move-out support)
  • Driving instructors
  • Relocation agencies
  • HR teams onboarding international staff
  • Housing régies and real estate agencies
  • Insurance brokers
  • Moving companies
  • Temporary housing providers
  • Language schools
  • International schools
How do partnerships work?

They’re simple and human — no contracts, no complexity.

Partners recommend jusTask when their clients need help, and jusTask recommends trusted partners in return.

Is there a cost to becoming a partner?

No. Partnerships are based on trust, quality, and mutual benefit — not fees.

How can I become a partner?

Just reach out. A short call or message is enough to start a collaboration.
